Q1-Where do you meet?-
A1 DIRECTIONS-Take Rt 58 north until Rt 6. Just after the stop light make a right. Make the next left (if you do not you will run into a military compound)and follow this road back. When you get to the large open field on the left you are there. Park and walk up the dirt path to the Bash Area. Pack light because the path is muddy and is a bit of a walk.We have a neew off-road track coming in Feb 2008!
Q2-When do you have race/bash days?-
A2 We usually get together one Saturday a month. We are looking into adding one other day a month also.
Q3-Where can I find a hobby shop on Okinawa?-
A3 There are a few hobby shops on Okinawa that we at PORN utilize. If you're looking for parts then you are better off going to the links page and ordering from one of the recommended sites there. For fuel, some tools, paint certain bodies, and some other small items you can shop locally.

ACTIVE (X) HOBBY-located on the left of RT 58 going from Camp Foster to MCAS Futenma.

"DIEGO" MODEL AIRPLANES-located on RT 23 across the street from Capitol Steak House.

TOP RUN HOBBY-located in Naha just past Camp Kinser. Email for directions. Recently closed.

RC Siro-Directions coming soon.

CAMP HANSEN HOBBY SHOP-there is a hobby shop located outside of Camp Hansen Gate 1. Come out the gate and go right. The hobby shop is the 2nd or 3rd building on the left. It is above a private parking area.

FUTENMA HOUSING GATE HOBBY SHOPS-there are a few shops located outside of the Futenma Housing Gate of Camp Foster. The only one I remember the name of is FRANK'S, but there are a couple out this way.

Yonkudo (DRIFT Events)-this shop can order Tamiya and Kyosho parts for you along with the few items he has in stock. To get here go east on RT 22 (the road that splits Awase Meadows Golf Course). At the second light the road forks. Go left. The road will fork again after Family Mart. Go right. This road will take you through all the Love Motels. You will reach a T intersection with a light. Here you go right. At McDonalds you turn left. Go down this road until you see Toys R Us on the right. At this intersection turn left. The hobby shop is way down this road on the right. The building has some parking, is yellow, and usually has Tamiya flags outside.
Q4-How do I tune my engine by ear?-
A4 I get this alot. Tuning a motor by ear? That's right by ear.
# 1. OK first off go by what your instruction book says for settings and break in tanks.
# 2. Now you should have ran at least 6 to 8 tanks of fuel through it.
# 3. This is how you do ANY MOTOR . You must hold it at FULL throttle to do this and LISTEN.
# 4. First, run your truck around Listening to the Sound . Now Drive it to your feet, Check the TEMP. Open the High Speed needle a whole 1/2 turn to richen it. STOP!
# 5. Run the truck you should hear a sound that is boggish and the truck should be sluggish. Check Temp again, it should be going down a little. (meaning when you richen it the temp go's Down)
# 6. Are you with me, GOOD. Now there is 12 hours in one the full turn (if you turn it 1/2 way it is 6 hours) OK?
# 7. Can you hear that it is rich and Sluggish? GOOD. Now just turn the High speed screw IN (to lean it out) 1 hour that a time. As you tune 1 hour at a time, you run the truck around in between each 1 hour turning. Always Check the Temp between Tunings. As you do this you will hear the motor come to a Screaming Point:: STOP:: That is it. You are done.
# 8. If you play around like this when you go out you will have an ear an know how to Tune a Motor.
# 9. You can do this with the Low Needle screw, BUT Please ensure to always richen it first ; NEVER Lean it out to start. If you play you will Learn.
